The Bijni College is situated in the Border district of Assam, Which is Chirang which shares it's boundary with Bhutan. Most of the students came from rural areas and very backward classes. The college offers Degree in Arts and Science and also offers HS courses under AHSEC(Assam Higher Secondary Education Council). The College is situated at the small town of Assam called Bijni. Bijni College was firstly affiliated with Gauhati University but currently it is affiliated with Bodoland University. Under Bodoland University it's performance is very down. The time when it was affiliated with Gauhati University, It was called One of the Greatest colleges in Assam but now it is one of the most worst college in Assam.
